
Xiaomi has recently launched its latest flagship smartphones – the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, 12S Pro, and 12S – all powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Alongside these smartphones, Xiaomi has also launched its latest fitness tracker – the Mi Smart Band 7 Pro. Here is a closer look at the features and specifications of these new devices.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra is the most premium smartphone in the new lineup. It features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra also features a quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 48-megapixel periscope lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The device also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra include a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, as well as support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
Xiaomi 12S Pro
The Xiaomi 12S Pro is the mid-range offering in the lineup. It features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is also powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Xiaomi 12S Pro features a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The device also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other features of the Xiaomi 12S Pro include a 4,500mAh battery with 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, as well as support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
Xiaomi 12S
The Xiaomi 12S is the most affordable device in the lineup. It features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Xiaomi 12S features a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The device also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Mi Smart Band 7 Pro
The Mi Smart Band 7 Pro is Xiaomi’s latest fitness tracker. It features a 1.5-inch AMO OLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 152×486 pixels. The device comes with a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and 19 sport modes for tracking your activities.
The Mi Smart Band 7 Pro also features a built-in GPS, which allows you to track your runs and walks without needing to bring your smartphone along. The device is water-resistant up to 5ATM, so you can wear it while swimming or taking a shower.
Other features of the Mi Smart Band 7 Pro include a battery life of up to 12 days, support for Bluetooth 5.2, and compatibility with both Android and iOS devices.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra is priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 69,500) for the base 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, while the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant is priced at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 81,000). The Xiaomi 12S Pro starts at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 46,400) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and goes up to CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 54,600) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The Xiaomi 12S is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 34,800) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and goes up to CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,600) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
The Mi Smart Band 7 Pro is priced at CNY 399 (roughly Rs. 4,600) and will be available for purchase in China starting from April 9. There is no word yet on when the new Xiaomi smartphones or the Mi Smart Band 7 Pro will be available in other countries.
